So I took the whole family to Sloane Square to start our search. It started out pretty well for me, because as soon as the doors to the bus opened, I spied a cat and managed to get pretty close to it. I scared it all right, but Dad pulled be back and there was fence in the way ... lucky cat! It didn't take me long to sniff out the first egg. It was right in the middle of the Square. It was pretty cool to find our first egg so quickly and easily, and after that, the hunt was on! None of the others were quite as easy to find, but that didn't matter so much. I had a good time sniffing them out, and the weather was incredible! I heard Mom say that it was 19º out, which doesn't mean too much to me, but I knew that it was hot because I was panting pretty quickly. But I do love the sunshine, I'll never complain.
We went from Sloane Square to Hyde Park, and we had a picnic there. I desperately wanted to chase the squirrels, but Dad held me back. Never mind him though, I yelled really loud at them, and they ran away. Dad looked embarrassed, as though everyone else in the park was looking at him while I yelped, but I didn't care. After our lunch in Hyde Park we walked through to Green Park, and that proved to be a great place to find eggs! I sniffed out four in that park alone, and then convinced Mom & Dad to keep hunting through St. James's Park. I found them another three eggs there before we went home. We all really had a good day.
Oh, and despite the fact that I am in most of the pictures, proving that I found all these eggs, Dad is making me tell you that Chris came too. He's in a few pictures, but he didn't help find the eggs - he slept most of the day away! He's getting a few teeth in, which means he's a bit cranky at home sometimes, so I was really happy to get outside for a while. But I am starting to like this little guy. I play with him a little bit and he is always happy to see me, so that's good.
Anyways, I asked Mom & Dad to post some pictures and they said they would, so check them out!
