The weather over here has recently decided to match that Canucks fans' spirits as well. It has turned back into winter with a vengence. On Tuesday, we had the equivalent of two months worth of rain in 24 hours. It absolutely poured, and many counties were issued flood warnings. According to the weather office, we're supposed to expect this kind of weather (dark clouds and heavy rain) for the entire month of May as well! Not too nice.
Luckily (in a sense), I get to escape this wet mournful expression that mother nature is giving us, and head to Atlanta for a week! I will be heading to my company's head office on Monday afternoon, and staying (or rather basking,) in the glorious 30º C weather until Friday night. I will really enjoy the weather and being back in a country that drives on the right side of the road, but will miss Sarah, Chris, and Rosie immensely. Especially after being away just a week ago in Rotterdam. But this should be a good trip for me in the sense that I'll get a lot of work done, and it really should impact our project for the better.
Finally, in terms of an update from our family, I don't know how many of you know, but Chris is crawling! He went through a few weeks of testing the waters and trying to figure out how to get his legs underneath him properly, but he finally did and now he's on the move! We've had to bit of baby-proofing now that he can get where he wants, but the person who has really benefitted from this development is Rosie! She loves that her little brother can move around and has really taken to playing with him. The two of them get along great and if only we could trust Rosie a little bit better Sarah and I would have a permanent babysitter!
Ah well, I must be off after the little mover! We hope that all is well with you!
