The Lounge only has seats that would make your family room at home jealous. They are all fully reclining, fully automatic, fully relaxing, chairs. They have little fold out tray tables similar to the type you might find on an airplane, but these just didn't feel cheap in the same way. They are the kind of seat that make you forget how much you've paid to sit in them. And they're worth it. Sarah and I had booked a love seat to enjoy our movie from, which was quite the experience. You could literally put your feet up while sitting on this thing, and we had staff bring us our meals direct to our seats during the trailers. It was quite a nice evening, and a movie experience that neither of us will soon forget!
This past weekend, we got out and took another tour with London Walks. This was the same company that took Sarah on such a good tour of Old Westminster when her friend Sarah Fogarty was here. The two of them absolutely loved their tour, and so Sarah and I were keen to do it ourselves. We chose one that was one of their special walks, one that doesn't happen every week. So on Saturday we toured around London with a view to the Prince Regent of the early 1800s and learned all about the areas that he had built while was in charge of the Royal coffers. It was quite an eye opener, and we saw the city from some new vantage points that we hadn't been to before. Very good!
And finally, this week in Halloween! Chris will be dressing up and making a visit next door to the neighbours, but we aren't expecting too many visitors at our door. Apparently our street isn't too popular, and besides that, we are given to understand that kids skip flats like ours with buzzers on the front door, so it will probably be a quiet night for the Imries. This weekend is bonfire night though ... it promises to be quite a noisy night again though!!
Take care and God Bless!
