Will has actually had a few big events occur since we last heard about him. The Sunday after Nana & Pops left, we had him baptized at Saint Saviour's. Welcome to the Kingdom Will! Perry, Anna, and Leola came with us to mark the occasion and then we all retired to the flat for a light lunch afterwards. Our Vicar, Geoff, was quite taken by Will and held onto him for quite some time after the actual baptism! Will has actually now taken his first bites on the adventure towards solid food as well. He's just on baby rice this for now, but this week we're going to give him his first taste of banana and see how he fares!
Sarah has been busy with a lot as well. Besides looking after the boys full time, she's been working a project with her NCT magazine, taking the publication digital! Her area came to an abrupt decision that the finances were no longer viable for a print-edition magazine and tasked her with the entire job of taking what was once paper and turning it into pixels. She has done a fantastic job, and the Chair has complimented her many times over in the past weeks. The first edition should be published in July, and we'll let you all know how you can get a copy, hot off the presses and direct to your phone, tablet, or computer, as soon as it's out.
My birthday has also passed since our last update. I don't feel quite as old as the numbers might say. Sarah and the boys helped me relax all day and we really enjoyed a picnic lunch, some sun (and some rain) in the garden, and a very yummy sushi dinner.
Work has been a bit of a struggle; my billable hours aren't quite what they used to be due to the nature of our contract with Shell, but I feel just as busy as ever. Since my hours haven't been as high as they necessarily should be, (and hopefully because of my past performance) I was recently asked to go and lead a project in Los Angeles for three - four months. Sarah and I thought and prayed over it, and decided that it would be a good thing for me to go, but after I said I would go, JDA (who I am contracted to work for) said I was doing such a good job on my current work and so integral to its success that I couldn't leave. Quite the compliment! and a bit of a let-down after getting geared up for something new, but I'm still quite happy with what I'm doing so I'm not too bothered overall.
Sarah's working on posting her latest photos for the challenge, and we'll be back writing on here more regularly!
